About the Chouettes

What
We are a Montreal social group of lesbian and bisexual women. We organize bi-monthly happy hours as well as other recurring and non-recurring activities such as outings to the movies, clubs and shows, having picnics, playing sports and other outdoor events. The atmosphere is friendly, full of laughter and relaxed. Women from all ethnic, linguistic and religious backgrounds are welcome. Age group: our group caters for women in their 20s and 30s (20-39), but all the young at hearts are welcome!

Background
The group Chouettes Coquettes was created in Montreal by Maryse and Marie-Christyne, in July 2005. After a year as co-organizer of the group, Marie-Christyne moved on to new projects. But the adventure continued with a new committee consisting of Maryse, Bich, Isabelle, Nawel and Natacha! Starting in January 2007, more cultural, sporting and outdoor events were therefore added to our calendar of events! Your organizers are Bich, Isabelle, Maryse, Caroline and Astrid.

What happens at our 5 to 7?
Our happy hours take place every other Friday at Cocktail. The group is friendly and everyone chats with everyone. At around 7 pm, we leave the happy hour to have dinner. Here are some of the restaurants we like to go to: Pho 21, Piazzetta, Food Resto Lounge, La Strega du Village, resto tibétain Shambala, La Tabla and St-Hubert. You can join us for the entire evening or simply stop by for part of the 5 to 7 or to have dinner.
